High Speed WRX Crash Scatters Debris And Damages Several Homes

Last Sunday we reported on a story about a high-speed crash that resulted in the entire drivetrain of a Subaru WRX being spilled into people's front yards. The report originated from a Facebook post, and it quickly went viral due to the awry photos of the harrowing crash, which also damaged many innocent bystanders' properties. Details at the time of the post were sparse, with some comments shedding some light on the matter—but when it comes to Facebook comments, however, they're to be taken with a grain of salt.

Luckily, The Drive received a tip from a person who lives on the street where the accident took place, and whose property was damaged as a result.

Why is it that good people usually die when hit by a drunk but these drunks always seem to survive even most horrific accidents, even when not wearing the seat belts?

The answer is easy and obvious. Studies have shown that because the drunk is relaxed (i.e. not tensed) they survive better.

So the conclusion is that if you are drunk you have better chances of survival in an accident.
Wonder if a judge would buy that reasoning.........

In the NYC area, it is a rite of spring to see a late night, horrific Subaru WRX crash or two splashed across the news - usually with at least 2, sub 22 year old, male fatalities as result of the accident.

There was an especially tragic crash four years ago where the driver was young and high....

NYC is rife with narrow and windy parkways that are really fun to drive but quite treacherous at night (when there is no traffic). New drivers with a little coin, but their WRX and go "rallying" at night with their friends, with disastrous consequences.
