In the world of sedans, where it's getting sadder by the minute, the mid-size luxury category still moves units. Maybe not everyone believes you need a sport-utility vehicle?

It is here that the Mercedes-Benz E-Class reigns supreme. Personally, if I were buying something in this slice of the auto world, that's what I'd go with.

But I haven't driven the all-new Audi A6. And it makes a strong case for itself — so I am told.

Would have liked to see what happened if the A6 backed up (while parking) into that hideous exposed Lexless front grille. WHAM!

Frankly - the Cadillac CT6 is now priced in the same range as the cars above, but is larger inside - and Likely lighter than the three. I enjoyed my CT6 enough to say that I would probably prefer the newer one to any of the three Germans right now.

Cadillac is not going back to making TWEENER cars- with the CT6 - priced in this range but clearly larger - and the new CT5 about the same size as the old CTS but priced in the 3 series range. For people who are looking for a luxury car - I believe Cadillac will be offering good choices.
