If Tesla's New Pickup Looks Like THIS, Would You take The Bait And Get One?

A concept artist has showcased a cool and creative take on Tesla’s pickup truck, which is expected to be revealed sometime later this year. Bold and unapologetically futuristic, the Tesla Truck render is a pretty good representation of Elon Musk’s upcoming “cyberpunk” vehicle.

When Elon Musk discussed Tesla’s upcoming pickup truck to veteran tech journalist Kara Swisher last November, he noted that the vehicle will be so futuristic, it won’t look out of place in the iconic sci-fi Blade Runner franchise. Musk even mentioned that if the vehicle does not sell well because it’s too cyberpunk, then the electric car maker will release a more “conventional” truck.

I'd advise them to focus on selling as many units as possible and forget about the truck being picked as a prop in an upcoming film. Nobody looking for a new pick up wants to drive a rolling freak show.

The headline should read "If Tesla's New 'Jeep Wrangler-size knockoff' Looks Like THIS, Would You take The Bait And Get One?

This vehicle is not a pickup.

By the way, I think art students everywhere are just penning up sexy vehicles while in design school and slapping Tesla badges on them so they generate clicks on the internet.

Tesla concepts are the perfect cars for art students to tinker with because Tesla does not have any real design language - Tesla is a blank slate.

Plus Tesla LOVES free publicity so they will never take the art students to court for copyright infringement.

I used to respect this site until it became a Tesla advertisement. I wish whoever made this decision would cut off ties $$$

Well when Tesla pays you pig time you get money in pocket and then because of the increased traffic, monetizing goes up and the lure of pure greed cannot be resisted.

Why not? honestly many pickup drivers don't use them for utility purposes but rather for an ego boosting big macho ride. Bring up the Tesla pickup, make it tall, put some big tires and be different than the other mortals burning hydrocarbon fuels.
It's the Perfect vehicle for taking from home to the valet parking of your favorite steakhouse and back.

Source - Teslarati.com and some eighth graders notebook.
Does autospies have any original posts or are you just going to keep reposting pro-EV articles from Teslarati.com and other EV sites.
And before you bash GM again. GM earned $2.1 billion profit in the first quarter despite revenues falling 3.4 percent.

5 of the last 9 articles here are about tesla.
How much of your revenue comes from forwarding Tesla propaganda?

This has been the case for a couple of years - with Tesla dominating the Items Here.

Obviously - the people who run this Blog are heavily invested into that company OR they are getting paid by that company - to keep them in the headlines.

Of course - they COULD use the space to have articles about the New Jensen that MATT has been waiting for - but that appears to be a wet dream - much like most of what Tesla announces.

That might be the best looking speculative render I've seen, but I think it's going to look way from random than this. Based on the teaser, my guess is we'll all go "wtf" when the full image is released.

This is what you get when a company does not believe in prototypes and endurance testing.

It might go beyond prototype and straight up be a concept car you can buy. If it fails then they'll go with a traditional design on the same powertrain. After staring at the teaser for ages, I think it will look like a wedge and the windshield will also be the roof. It won't look like any other truck out there.

What this "It might go beyond prototype and straight up be a concept car you can buy." means is that once again, Tesla will do no prototype development and sell a sub-standard product to the idiots who drink from Elon's "fountain". The first run of Model 3 cars were "pilot" cars with all the quality lapses that pilot cars have. Tesla is just a secular "Jesus" cult.

First run anything tends to have issues, but the Model 3 today is the best car you can get in that size class and it keeps getting better with every update. I think the idiots are those that choose to pay more for cars that will be obsolete in a few years and require constant maintenance. We can agree to disagree, that's okay =)

Now let me get this right: when the new Sinata was first unveiled about 12 people said how the backend copied the Civic's.

But when the Telsa is.revealed only two people bring up the obvious backend of the Civic? SMH. Really? So we also going to act like the front end is orginal as well? Yet when it comes to Gemesis bring up the Audi, Mitsubishi, Lexus grille but no one is going to bring that up when it comes to Telsa.

When the Kia Telluride was first shown people compared its backend to the Volvo. Yet this Telsa can get away with it since it isnt Korean.
