WHICH All-new SUVs Are You Looking Forward To In 2019?
Recently I've been talking with a family member about the replacement of their BMW X5 xDrive50i. Their lease is coming due and, simply put, they're keeping their eye out on what's next.

They've driven the all-new 2019 X5 and were mighty impressed but BMW's uncompetitive programs have given them the wandering eye. So, now what?

When I showed them the soon-to-debut Lincoln Aviator, that seemed to hit all the right buttons. It has the look, a certain cachet and with the optional seats this gives the buyer the massage function they've been wanting for some time.

Having said that, this got me thinking: What am I missing? Are there any other SUVs hitting the market this year that deserve some attention? WHICH all-new SUVs are YOU looking forward to in 2019?

Definitely the Aviator. The Corsair is looking good too. Also the GLS with its trick suspension.

Based on the tests - it appears that the Blazer is more than the sum of its parts. I think we are going to see a LOT of them on the road.

The Aviator is going to sell like hotcakes. The Corsair should be a big wow as well.

Duds:
Escape
Explorer
XT6
Palisade
Blazer

I think the new Mercedes GLE is an incredible SUV and certainly worth a look.

I love the current-gen CR-V. If they do a killer hybrid like the Accord, it would be great...

aviator looks great. key will be if they are competitive with the leases as they don't have RR cache yet so need to suck people who can pay $800-$1200 a month in. it's top of my list come November.

Well SUV's
Diesel Wrangler

Everything else is going to be a cross-over and not looking forward to any of them.

Aviator probably has my highest interest only because it's almost a make or break product for Lincoln. It's putting its foot in one of the most competitive categories and if it fails, then where does Lincoln go from there?
The Benz GLE and GLS should be great products, too. And the GLB should be an interesting one, too.

Without any big tail fins, the name 'Aviator' is a fraud.

SUVs with black A pillars: 2020 Highlander, 2019 Blazer, Land Rover. this Lincoln, Nissan Armanda and the Infiniti version, Mini Cooper, Scion XB, Ford Explorer but only the 2005 Kia Mesa and 2006 Soul would be accused of copying and allowing the Nissan Maxima to get away with it.

No one is going to Bring up that Lincoln almost copied Kia's Tiger grille huh? But if the Lincoln came out before Kia came up with it, then the Kia would be accused of copying. But because Lincoln isnt Korean it can get away with it.
