Senate Moves On Executive Order To Establish National EV Supply Chain
U.S. lawmakers on Tuesday moved closer to developing a national electric vehicle supply chain policy, with senators voicing bipartisan support for legislation designed to parry China's dominance in metals production and battery manufacturing.

The Senate's Energy and Natural Resources Committee held a hearing on the American Mineral Security Act, which would help streamline regulation and permitting requirements for the development of mines for lithium, graphite and other EV minerals.

The pending legislation would require a tally of metal reserves in the United States and seek to streamline permitting for the EV sector, an area where China already leads by a wide margin.

That is such a tired falsehood. Uranium One, which produces 2 percent of the US total - non enriched- was sold to a Russian company. The uranium they produced was sold mostly to Canada. The US is a small percentage of the total Uranium in the world. Nine US departments had to sign off on the deal.
Both the US an Russia have stockpiles of weapons grade uranium and do not need more.
This is a Trump distraction from the treason he has committed with Russia.
Look at some fact check resources before you sound off like some uneducated tRump supporter.
