EXPOSED! BMW's Upcoming 8-Series Gran Coupe Prototype Nabbed Nearly Nude As Its Being Hauled Away

If you've been seeking a better look at the soon-to-debut BMW 8-Series Gran Coupe, boy, do we have a present for you today. That's because some highly effective Spies nabbed a prototype 8-Series Gran Coupe hanging off the back of a truck — literally.

Spotted wearing minimal camouflage and painted a matte silver, these snaps are the best yet of the upcoming flagship.

That's because there's a lot being revealed! As you can see it shares a lot in common with the 8-Series Coupe — its DNA remains strong in the four-door Gran Coupe.

My initial guess had me thinking this was an M850i variant of the Gran Coupe; however, upon closer inspection I don't think that's the case. If you look closer, within those exhaust finishers there's only a dual exhaust exiting out the back. Given that subtle difference, I'd suspect it's an 840i Gran Coupe.
