WHY THOUGH?! Can YOU Out-UGLY This 2020 BMW 7-Series' TOTAL Package?
Just because you can do something, doesn't mean that you should. And the latest BMW Individual example of the 2020 BMW 7-Series seems to articulate this point in a VERY clear way.

That's because it's painted yellow. But, not any ordinary yellow. It's Austin Yellow. Yes, the BMW M exclusive color, which means this is a job for BMW Individual.

One would think, "maybe they made up for it on the inside, at least." WRONG. This specification goes with a bright teracotta-type color leather and then it was ordered with a light wood trim that appears to have a blonde hue to it.

It has me dry-heaving over here.

But, wait. There's more! The icing on the cake is the best part, folks. So, not only does it have unique paint and exclusive trimming, but it has quite possibly the worst engine option one could order the refreshed 7-Series with. That's right! It's the 2.0-liter, four-cylinder variant dubbed the 730i M Sport.

Honestly, BMW should just be ashamed of itself for letting a vehicle this massive and completely out of touch with its M division ship from the factory as an M Sport.

All that said, I've got to ask: WHY THOUGH?!

BMW design has become a parody of itself. Even in colors chosen not to burn the retinas, this thing is a mess. Whoever chose this combo though must be literally color blind.

Piss yellow with a 4 cylinder?

I don't consider color to be an issue - obviously there will be more than just ONE color available. And in Europe - painting a performance vehicle in a "vibrant" color is more normal than it is here. Maybe less so with an Attempted Luxury car - but BMW has lost its significance in that arena.

My problem is the Tonka Toy look
I Think it is misplaced on the F150 - on a production high end luxury car it is too over the top.

You're hitting the Jack Daniels really early today. That was powerfully incoherent.

BMW said that M now means "more" and no longer Motorsport. This is what you get with that kind of thinking.

It's Abu Dhabi Motors. They always do over the top cars.

I don’t think it looks bad.....if it were priced like a 5 Series

BMW has lost it's handsome appearance. They now all look like toy soldiers.

Here's my take on BMW...when the X7 came out, it was panned for being ugly but now that its out, everybody is universally saying that it has "presence".

I was at my local BMW Dealer (Manhattan) and they had a new 2020 7-Series on the showroom floor (luxury model, this piss yellow one is the sport model) and it is actually a really great looking, premium vehicle which has "presence".

I think the new 7-Series is going to be as much of a hit as a $100,000 (ask for $10,000 off if you are buying one) four door sedan could be.

Its better looking now than the S-Class IMO.

The 7 Series is 100% forgettable. No one gives it a second glance.

This yellow is ugly period, regardless of the car it's painted on-- I've seen some M3's and M4's and they make me want to puke. That said, the 7 looks fine for what it is and the interior is OK, just put it in a black car. If it's in the UAE, then make it a white car.

Why not factory product Bimmerfest ugly. I think we know the "type crowd" BMW is targeting with this.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
What type of crowd would that be in Abu Dhabi?
