GM Invests $150 Million To Build More Big Trucks
General Motors will invest $150 Million into its Flint Truck Assembly Plant to increase the production of the new Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra heavy-duty pickups. The money will also go towards improving the factory's conveyors and other tooling, and this work will be done in the first half of 2020.

GM is looking for more space to build more mid-size pick-ups = which they are already farming out to another supplier. When you add in the Heavy Duty Pick ups - where the increased space in the GM BED - especially the width - will make a difference to business people who do not care that the interiors are not Luxury end.

Add in - GM is planning to introduce straight 8 foot beds with only two seats - also more likely for business.

I believe that GM will probably need to refurb a plant - because we can also expect new Vans from GM eventually - and I also believe a Mid Size AStro Van would sell as well. The only question - how bad the recession will be.

Maybe Maserati should start building big trucks for big 35% profits.

Take a Ram, graft on the Maserati face, bolt in the Pentastar V6 that is shipped to Italy, driven through the Ferrari parking lot and called a Ferrari engineered engine. #SUCCESS. I mean the Maserati 300s (Quattroporte/Ghibli) and the Maserati Magnum (Levantantatete) did so well.

Since GM shut down and stupidly sold the Lordstown plant, any additional truck production with have to came from a place called Mehico.
