Trump Administration Tells GM, Uber And Tesla They Can't Hide From China Technology Tariffs
The Trump administration is expanding efforts to block the use of Chinese technology in advanced vehicles, denying additional requests by Tesla Inc. for tariff relief on key components of its electric vehicles, and rejecting ride-hailing company Uber's petition to waive tariffs on electric scooters and at least 50 separate requests by General Motors Co.

After the United States slapped 25 percent tariffs on $50 billion of Chinese imports last year under the two countries' trade dispute, the U.S. Trade Representative allowed companies to petition for exemptions.

Government documents show the USTR rejected requests to exempt Tesla's Model 3 car computer and center screen in May 29 letters, saying they both concern "a product strategically important or related to 'Made in China 2025,' or other Chinese industrial programs."

If they are going to negotiate, let's put it all on the table. Exit Tibet, renounce any claims on Taiwan and Hong Kong. Abandon the military bases you created on the channel islands that you have no rightful claim to. Stop lending money to poor nations for political influence. Stop cyber spying and stealing stealing trade secrets. It's a long list. China should have to enact a lot of reforms in order to gain market access to the West.

The world better prepare for more expensive prices across a whole range of items. It remains to be seen how the American public will respond to electronics and clothing that ends up costing 50% - 100% more. And our farming industry is about to be practically a state-run socialized enterprise already underway with $27 Billion and rapidly counting.

Who would have thought that the American right wing would embrace Socialism? I guess they love it when they are the ones who decides who gets the Socialism.

When one of your lines of bullshit doesn't work, you say the total opposite and act like you haven't changed positions.
