RENDERED SPECULATION: Think The Telluride Is The ONLY Korean SUV To Play BADASS? Don’t Bet On It!

RENDERED SPECULATION: Think The Telluride Is The ONLY Korean SUV To Play BADASS? Don’t Bet On It!
Not too long after the launch of the 2020 Hyundai Palisade, it appear that some folks are getting creative. In the form of a rendering.

That's because someone broke out Photoshop and used their imagination. As there is a trend around hardcore, off-roading vehicles, someone applied that look/feel to Hyundai's latest.

2020 Hyundai Palisade

And, to be honest, it looks pretty damn badass.

Something tells us that wasn't Hyundai's intention with the Palisade. But, we're sure the Korean marque will shy away from this rendering.

That's because this render taps into an all-new market for the Palisade. One that likes to have fun and get adventurous.

So, what do YOU think? How does this render impact your thinking of the 2020 Palisade?

No. Those wheels and tires weren’t meant for this class of car

It would be hilarious to drive. It's probably a handful with the raised suspension. It the overall diameter of the wheel/tire combo exceeds stock, the acceleration will be affected. Just as the Telluride looked asinine in the vignette where idiot millennials fresh from Starbucks tried to make it look butch, this is ridiculous.

If it’s not body on frame, I wouldn’t bother lifting it...

Since it is not real - AND WE KNOW that to be the case - why would it have anything to do with our opinions of the real Vehicle.

A good Photo- Manipulator could possibly make a Jensen Type s look good - then again maybe not!

It's actually more redneck looking.

I like the Telluride design exterior and interior better even when I think the Hyundai is nice.

How is this news? Some 9th grader with photoshop posts his idea and this results in an article?

This is almost as worthless as asking if a future Jeep which no one has seen and won't see for at least three years is better looking than the Tulluride which is on sale now.

Because the Telluride has the image out of the gate that it is the rugged looking ride...But it looks like Hyundai could have a rugged version as well and also pull the image off if they decided to have some specialty packages. Watch for a LOT of Telluride's and Palisade's tricked out at #SEMA

The Telluride is NOT rugged looking. If anything it looks like a finely tailored Hugo Boss suit.

MD,

Many would disagree with your opinion on that.

Potent 3.8-liter GDI V6 with 291 horsepower and 262 lb.-ft. of torque
Powerful exterior design and premium, well-appointed interior
Loaded with technology to enhance comfort, convenience, utility and the driver and passenger experience

GATEWAY CANYON, Colorado, March 19, 2019 – Today the all-new 2020 Kia Telluride made its official on-road and off-road debut, beginning a new adventure for Kia with its biggest and boldest SUV ever. Not far from the town that bears its name, the midsize Telluride SUV tackled mountain passes, rugged off-road trails and nearly every other kind of road under Colorado’s wide western sky. Imagined in America, designed at Kia’s design studio in California, and assembled in Georgia1, the Telluride is the largest Kia ever. It provides comfortable seating for up to eight, a powerful 291-hp 3.8-liter V6, available active on-demand all-wheel drive2, and an inspiring view of the world. The Telluride offers potential for exploration and adventure every time it’s on the road.

Designed in America for America
Telluride is the first Kia designed specifically for the U.S. and is a product of the Kia Design Center in Irvine, CA. From the first pencil stroke it was meant to convey the kind of presence associated with the original legendary SUVs – big, bold and boxy – and the go-anywhere, do-anything attitude their square, burly-shouldered shapes suggested. The Telluride’s sophisticated exterior accents also hint at its interior luxury. Main design cues include:

Long, broad hood and wide grille
Bold, stacked headlamps convey power and stability
Upright windshield and clean side profile conveys muscular tension
Inverted “L” tail lamps with LED stripes (standard on EX and SX trims)
Elongated nameplates on the leading edge of the hood and on the liftgate provide distinctive identity for flagship SUV
Sculpted rear skid plate with integrated twin exhaust tips reference off-road ability and power (standard on S, EX and SX trims)

The Telluride interior is designed to continue the impression of upscale exploration:

Grab handles integrated into the center console suggest journeys off the beaten path
Wide console with emphasis on the horizontal through artistic use of premium trim features to convey spaciousness - more “luxe living room” than “utility vehicle”
Spacious cabin for generous hip, shoulder, leg and head room, including in the third row
