2020 Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro – an Ultimate Preview
On the last Chicago Auto Show, a Japanese giant surprised everyone by introducing the new member of its TRD Pro series. Toyota Sequoia has been on the market for 18 years now, and things needed to be shaken up a bit – the competitors were winning the sales battle. It was the right move according to many of the reviewers. The result is an old SUV with a new flattering suffix which is as comfortable crawling through the mud as it is towing your boat, as Toyota describes it.

I suggest a correction to the engine displacement: 5.7 Liters, not 7 Liters.
This is a comfortable SUV which can last 400K miles. Great for family road trips. It's also comfortable at the gas stations due to city MPG from the 80's.
Nissan sells more Armadas.
This SUV will benefit from the 3.5 twin turbo engine.

This thing is ancient, so many better options in the market.

They're kidding right? Who's still buying these?

I wonder why Toyota hasn't updated the Sequoia exterior to at least keep up with the Highlander.

A white one lives down the street from me. They have 3 kids, a dog and own and rent out quite few cottages. It makes sense for families who tow things from time to time. It isn't an off-road SUV in the real sense. This TRD treatment is for Dad's who want their Sequoia to have more street "cred" as they drive their kids to the mall. 400k+ no problemo.
