It wasn't too long ago that some excellent spy work showed of the next-gen Porsche Panamera's interior. We've been wondering what Porsche would do for the next-gen Panny and it's quickly become known.

The company's button-centric interiors will be going the way of the dinosaurs soon.

That's because it's clear the Stuttgart-based brand will be moving in the direction of Tesla. Well, not quite that extreme, but you'll see. BIG infotainment screens are in and Porsche is joining the club.

First seen in the Panamera mule and now in the Cayenne mule are massive infotainment screens that appears to be touch sensitive — check out the iconography on the user interface. While we assume the screens will be where much of the interaction happens, you can clearly make out a slew of buttons that now live on the center console. From what we can see, they appear to be touch sensitive as well — we're guessing tactile feedback will now be replaced with haptic feedback.

HVAC, seat heating/cooling, stability control and more switches will reside here. In addition, you'll note the all-new shifter, which is rumored to control an all-new, eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Are YOU digging this all-new move by Porsche? Would you rather have the buttons?
