Since the debut of the four-door convertible from Cadillac, the Ciel, it's been on our minds. Not only because it was easily the most gorgeous Cadillac we've seen in quite sometime but also because it brought about a niche that we wager would make a luxury brand a killing.

Problem is Cadillac doesn't see it that way and will not be producing it.

Your hopes shouldn't be clouded though and that's because Cadillac used the 2013 Pebble Beach Concours D'Elegance as a proving ground for its later iteration, the Elmiraj. While it loses two doors and an open-roof cockpit, the Elmiraj brings this dream a step closer to reality.

At Pebble, Jay Leno had the chance to get a bit more familiarized with the Elmiraj with the man behind the team that designed it, Ed Welburn.
