Mystery Lexus LS-F Caught Circling Nurburgring?
Here a mystery Lexus LS we snapped on the Nurburgring during some hot laps. Its very racing-looking and sounded very nice as well. But it does look to extreme to be a LS-F or what do you think? And yes, its driving with Toyota Cologne plates and was stationed at the Toyota/Lexus garage at the Nurburgring so its not an aftermarket tuner. BTW, the big L on the rear window is for learner.

If the LS is ancient, then the S-Class must be near extinction - it's 2 years older.

I also submitted an article about this car 3-4 days back. Why was it not posted?
BTW i hope this prototype is of the GS-F hiding underneath the modified LS body. The GS F-sport will be launched at SEMA so it is normal to think GS-F will come after that. Hope it gets a good competitive engine which can also be used for other performance models. A supercharged engine is rumored as well as LFA's engine.
Recently Audi showed S6, S7 and S8, all existing models built around new 4.0TT V8.
"The hybrid version will be unveiled at the Frankfurt auto show next month. An F-Sport model, equipped with a suspension and body package, and possibly a supercharger, will be seen at the Specialty Equipment Market Association show in November in Las Vegas."

One member of lexusenthusiast.com claims that he has seen the pictures taken inside the Lexus facility of the specs of this Lexus prototype.

Engine is 5L V8 ... 650HP ... 710tq ... 9000RPM redline
I posted the pics, which were taken INSIDE the Lexus facility, a few months ago on Club Lexus... But they were taken down almost immediately... (project is "hush-hush")... Now that the car has been spied and everyone has seen it I sent pics to krew. He can post em if he wants.

I have the images as well, but unfortunately, I can't post them due to a request from Lexus Europe.

This is correct. We got a message very shortly after the pics were up to take the pics down since they were taken in the Cologne facility without their permission it seems. That is where the LFA GT2 racer was also spotted.

What exactly is the LFA GT2 racer? How is it different than a normal LFA? can you give me any info about it?

It have a smaller wheels , brakes doesn't looks like Carbon-Ceramic but Metal one , a more wider bodykit (I think it's wider than VLN one) , spoiler also quite wide , side mirror is replace & hood have more vent ... I've the picture collected but no further information .
There's a LS park besides it & I guess it's the same Lexus LS as the spied one .
As for Krew ... if this message is against Lexus Europe , you can edit or delete it "

So more information about this Lexus LS mule and also about the LFA GT2. IS LFA GT2 the "M3 Like Special Edition" LFA Tokyo Edition?

I see that Lexus is prepping work on the premise of killing Bugatti when they release their 4-door super car. The car pictured above will be the fastest, best handling, best looking, and most reliable car in its class. Just like every single Lexus before it. Recognize!!!

I get what Lexus is trying to do - be the Japanese version of BMW, Audi, Merc.. just not sure if they will succeed at it.

Hmmm...
The fender flares and generally unfinished, un-Lexus look of this just scream "TUNER WIDEBODY!" But if it's certainly a Lexus then the only explanation is that it's an LS-F. Also, the new bodywork reminds me of the 1-series M - ugliness and fender flares in the name of aerodynamics and handling.
Anyway, I don't see how this could possibly work well. Lexus is evidently trying to craft a Panamera Turbo and S8 competitor out of a boring, soft limo designed with chauffeuring in mind. Still, it's nice to see that Lexus hasn't completely forgotten about F.

just like the 3-series killing IS250? or more like the BMW-crushing ES350? or perhaps the S-class destroying LS460?

Update:
"We had an insider at the old F1 Toyota facility snap photos of this LS and what looked like a modified LFA GT2 with BBS wheels, widened fenders....they snapped photos of the specs for the LS...it stated 650hp at 9,000 RPM with 20" wheels. Within hours of the pics posted, we got a message from Toyota to take the pics down, which we did."
"What makes me believe this is accurate is Lotus stated they were going to use a 650hp 5.0 liter from the Lexus IS F supercharged for 650hp. The Lexus GS F is coming to so it might be a mule for that."
