Although the 2012 Honda Civic only made its debut at the 2011 Detroit Auto Show, it looks like Honda is going to be moving full-steam ahead with the Civic redesign. No hesitations allowed.
Even though the cars at the Detroit Show seemed to be conservatively styled with some strong touch ups on its exterior design, Honda hints that the big changes will be coming on the inside of the car. Another peculiar move that Honda has decided to give the go ahead to is that the brand will be releasing all of its Civics closely together. I guess the brand's delay in bringing the next-gen Civic changed the way Honda wanted to launch the 2012 Civic.
Typically when a new Civic rolls out, there is a bit of lead time before the next variation -- whether it's the motors or body style -- hits the market.
Given the Spies' overwhelmingly positive reaction to the pictures of the 2012 Honda Civic Concept, I am assuming that there are plenty of buyers eagerly waiting for the new Civic to hit showroom floors in April.
