Here is a copy of the official 2^nd letter MB sent to customers regarding the navigation system.

Maybe it should have been re-worded like this:

Valid through December 31, 2003 on the purchase of any new Mercedes-Benz vehicle that you don't really want and isn't selling very well, like the C, SLK, E, M (Oh LORD, please buy one because we have NO idea what we're going to do with all this inventory!) and S-class (Not vaild on anything you would want, like an E55, CL55, S55, CLK cabriolet or C32) :)

For what it's worth, here is another offer that they are introducing to alleviate legal pressure and customer service. But I still don't think it's enough. For those who've purchased and took receipt of the car, we have to begin the process all over again; which means we have to pay another TAX, TITLE, & LICENSE. The amount offered isn't enough for the time waisted and fees paid. I agree that I should pay for depreciation, but the rest is simply not our fault.
