BREAKING! Audi To Bring A 700 HP Hybrid Whopper To 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show

Just making waves now is word on the street that Audi will be bringing something massive to the Frankfurt Motor Show. If you thought the Quattro Concept that bowed years ago was dead, think again.

According to a variety of reports, the four rings will be resurrecting that concept to give birth to an all-new e-Tron vehicle. Right now reports are saying that the power output will come from the motor currently slotted in the RS6 and RS7 — a 4.0-liter twin-turbo'd V8 — PLUS the additional help of an electric unit. This has reports ranging from a total output of 650 to 700 horsepower to take on the BMW i8.

The sketches have hit the 'net but no official release or information is available at this time. Aside from what is mentioned above, I will refrain from further speculation as reports are varying drastically.
