It seems that Lexus' marketing department is getting better with every advertisement that I stumble across. The latest I've encountered shows an IS-F television spot that shows the car essentially stops time through its high-speed travel.

And I thought the LFA breaking glass was good.

The narration speaks about a test in October 1971 where scientists placed two atomic clocks -- one in a jet, one on the ground -- to prove that a clock at speed runs slower than one at rest. What it boils down to is if a jet traveling at the speed of light could essentially stop time entirely.

As we see the IS-F during this "test," it manages to do a hint of damage.

To be frank, I am not well-versed in this field to even touch it with a 10 foot pole. Regardless if it is real or fake, you have to admit that it is a cool idea for a tv spot, no?
