It seems like just days ago we were at the Detroit Auto Show but in reality this year has flown by and another Concours D'Elegance in Pebble Beach is in the books.
Or as we affectionately like to call it the Concours D'Arrogance.

And without fail the 1% plus the wannabe 1% were sporting their salmon pants, Caddyshack style jackets and God only knows a seemingly endless combination of outlandish/humorous (both GOOD and BAD, some intentional for effect, some not) wardrobe choices.
All in hunt for a taste of the supposed good life or a chance to post an "I saw just saw Leno" or "Did you hear some idiot paid $20 million for a Ferrari?" status on Facebook.
But the good news is if you can get past all the fluff, in its core there are some really beautiful hidden gems sprinkled around the Lodge at Pebble Beach.
And you KNOW, WE found them all PLUS captured the vibe for all of our Spies to enjoy.
So what were the highlights and interesting things we saw?
We know your time is valuable so we'll net it out for you.
1. We saw the first truly beautiful Cadillac design since the 60's. The Elmiraj Concept was GORGEOUS! Shout out the French designer Gael Buzyn. Wonderful product. Just build it.
2. We saw a freak of nature in the Laraki Motors Epitome Concept packing 1,750HP!! Look for the BEST photos of it on the net in our gallery and the only site with good INSIDE shots.
3. We got our first look at the Jaguar Project 7 Concept and it put us in 7th heaven.
4. Although there are so many classics on the course at Pebble and boring ostentatious cars like Packard's win best in show it's the beautiful Alfa's that speak to us.
5. Lexus did not have a large stand for the first time (if they did, we could not find it) that we can remember in a long time. Maybe they finally figured out what Audi already has about displaying in Monterey and ROI.
6. And somehow, Spyker just cannot die even though we've NEVER seen one driving the streets by customer. EVER. Have you?
So now you have a few choices…
You can take a look at our photos from the Concours OR you can elect to go to some other site if you prefer under exposed, poorly composed images. HOW can these sites own good camera's yet their images end up looking like they were shot from smartphones??? ;)
Remember, there are photos and the there are AUTO SPIES photos!
Enjoy the views!
