As cars like the Audi A4, BMW 3-Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class have grown up and gotten bigger, an all-new segment opened up. That would be luxury compact vehicles.
The car that proved this could be a viable segment from a volume perspective was the Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class. It sold like hot cakes. And we can understand why.
It featured a solid design that made it look way more expensive than where it was priced — under $30,000 at time of launch — and its interior was passable. Although I know plenty of people will chastise it for being a rather low rent, I thought it was passable.
After a refresh though the vehicle's grown a bit stale. So, it's that time again.
That's where the all-new A-Class comes into the fold. While images of the hatch have been circulating for a couple of weeks, this is what I have been waiting for. The sedan.
Finally, we're getting a look at the four-door that will be U.S.-bound. And, if that wasn't good enough, we've also got the first image of its interior.
All that said, take a peek at the photos via Auto Motor und Sport and let us know your first impressions.
