According to an internal document GM has issued a stop sale order for a large number of vehicles equipped with the companies 6.2 liter V8 engine,
It appears there are connecting rod and/or crankshaft engine components in these vehicles may cause engine damage or failure.
And parts are not available at this time.
“Until further instructions are received, involved vehicles that are in dealers’ possession… must be held, and not delivered to customers.”
