When Dodge announced the Hornet as the rebadged twin of the Alfa Romeo Tonale, which is also available in North America, it took a big leap of faith. So far, that leap hasn’t exactly paid off, and dealerships are struggling to move the hot crossover. In fact, the Hornet’s sales are down by 45% in the first quarter of 2025 compared to the same period last year.
 
To boost sales, Dodge dealers throughout the country are now slashing prices by thousands. These deals are so good that it’s becoming harder and harder to overlook the Hornet’s flaws.
