This week's Powerball lottery ticket winnings approached a total value of more than $400 million dollars. Clearly, that's chump change. With a winner in Minnesota and two winning tickets purchased in New Jersey — respect — it seems that there will be three folks with life-changing money in their bank accounts.
What struck us was that the Minnesota winner. That's because at his press conference he noted that he had been watching a Craigslist post on an early model Acura NSX for the past several months and that he'd likely pony up the $30,000 or so grand to get the vehicle now.
Well done, Paul White. Well done.
Many people admire the first-gen NSX, specifically the early model year products, as it was a game changer in the space.
But I have to wonder: If you were the winner of a $150 million dollar jackpot what would YOU be spending it on?
Personally, I can't imagine buying used with that much cash on hand. Hopefully this is a good sign he won't go through all the funds and he'll be wise with his new winnings!
