The first crossover vehicle ever developed by the MINI brand continues its testing sessions. Developed under the internal name “Project Colorado”, the Crossover will be the first MINI developed outside the U.K and built by Magna Steyer, an Austrian company. While there are rumors that the Crossman name might be replaced by the newly registered trademark Crossman, we will continue to refer to it as the MINI crosover.

According to our sources, the MINI Crossover will be available in two versions: the usual MINI front-wheel-drive and ab all-wheel drive version built on the xDrive platform from BMW. With a driving position higher than the regular MINIs, the Crossover/Countryman/Crossman is longer than any other MINI models out there: 13 ft long(aprox. 4 meters).

The Crossover can hold up to four passengers and the interior will reflect the existing design in other MINIs.
