Mazda’s MX-5 has always been known as Roadster in Japan and barely a Tokyo Auto Salon goes by without some cool reworking of this lightweight, two-seat funster.
On the Mazda stand at this year’s Auto Salon custom/tuner show, this puppy in particular caught our eye. Developed by Mazda E&T, Mazda’s in-house skunk works in Hiroshima, this M’z Tune Concept gets dressed up with new high quality body aero parts plus full low-down suspension make-over with unique Bilstein dampers, sports muffler, original 18-inch wheels and remapped 2.0-liter twin cam to develop an extra 7-8 per cent power over stock.
