Seems like Nissan was feeling lonely, missing out on all the ‘green’ talk that’s been going on. Well to prove their point, Nissan assembled a team of product development experts and put then out on the road with their new Nissan Skyline, which is powered by a 2.5 liter VQ25HR V6 engine that produces 225 horsepower. The team managed to cover an impressive distance of 1,024.4 kilometers (621 miles) on one tank of fuel.
The average fuel consumption rate was 16.3km-per-liter (10.1 miles). Check out the press release for more information. Wonder if any U.S. Nissan models can do the same?
