Kia Motors Corp. unveiled its new model called the Cadenza in South Korea recently. The Cadenza, which replaces Kia’s Amanti large sedan that ended production months ago, goes on sale there this year and in North America in 2011.
In a release, Kia disclosed that the five-seat Cadenza is shorter than the Amanti but has a longer wheelbase delivering more interior space. The car will be manufactured at Kia’s Hwasung assembly plant in South Korea. The Korean edition has been confirmed to have a 3.5-liter V-6 engine. The carmaker has yet to finalize the engine specifications for its North American version.
