For whatever reason, there are just certain cars that I will always have a soft spot for. The kind of metal that makes me say "I need to own one, no matter the consequences, before I die."
And that's exactly what the 2002 Jaguar XJR 100 is to me. The XJR of yesteryear just stole my heart. Not so much those newer ones, though.
But at this weekend's Pebble Beach event, Jaguar brought out a "design concept" called the XJ75, for the firm's 75th anniversary. Our friends over at Autocar seem to be hinting that they believe this could inspire the next-generation XJR.
After looking at the shots, we agree. Especially since it seems that this would be a perfect event for Jaguar to gauge buyer's opinion if they should even bother with an XJR.
