Recently, Audi AG announced a product offensive that is far more aggressive than what I believe most were expecting. Essentially there will be an onslaught of all-new luxury sport-utility vehicles coming from the German automaker.
While a lot of people are jazzed about the Q1 and Q2, we're more intrigued by the Q6 and Q8.
Personally though, I think we're most interested by the Q6. That's because this will be the more innovative of the lot. Not only will it feature a technological tour de force with its powertrain options, it also is likely to be the most dramatically styled of the latest Audi product lineup.
What's bolstering my speculation is that this is going to be an SUV that competes with the likes of the BMW X6 and all-new Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class Coupe. Not only will it have to be daring, it will have to be sharp. And, if you recall, we saw what Audi was capable of when it launched the A7 years ago.
We know Audi can be controversial and striking as it's shown us what the four rings is capable of when it puts itself to the test. Essentially, we're thinking this will be its big shot.
