If you drive at all, eventually you will crash.
For most of us this has already happened at least once, if not it will happen to you eventually. That's not saying you are a menace on the road, however unless you are supremely lucky, time and those other idiots out there will eventually track you down.
That crash could be just a small fender bender, or a horrific wipeout that totals your pride and joy. Either way you may feel luckily that it was just so minor, or grateful to just be alive.
My worst crash by far was on the track competing in a solo event about 20 years ago. On the inside of fast sweeper I dropped a wheel off the tarmac at about 80 mph ripped the tire right off the rim. Needless to say after my GTI stopped tumbling, I had a new appreciation for crumple zones and VW's attention to integrated safety cages. The main thing however was I simply walked away, and and only had to nurse my ego.
We all have those war stories we either want to brag about, or sheepishly get off our chest. So tell us all about the worst crash you have ever had, and did your vehicle either save your life, or even contributed to the crash itself.
