Though there have been plenty of BMW X4 sightings around the Spartanburg plant in the Carolinas, no one has gotten a good look at the inside the X4 until now. But it seems that we really haven't been missing out on much.
One would have hoped for a slightly more unique interior on the X4 but from what we can see it appears very clear that it is simply a lifted X3 interior. This isn't a complete shock as the X5 and X6 share interiors but we were just a little hopeful that BMW would surprise us.
Womp womp.

We've shown you many looks at the exterior of the X4 prototypes, but no views of the X4 interior (not even on the concept X4), until now.
The X4's interior design is predictably similar to the X3, with which it shares a platform (see comparison photo). The new iDrive touch control knob can be seen. As with the X3, the X4 will be produced in Spartanburg. Expect the X4 to hit the market in the second half of 2014 - early 2015.
