Another day, another spy. Yet again there have been some new shots snapped of the upcoming Land Rover Discovery. Though it's been out for quite some time now, it seems like Land Rover isn't going to be revamping the "Disco" much.

Unless this is a mule, it seems like the updates will be few and far between. And that's sad, really. The space the Disco competes in continues to heat up and it seems like the Disco would be a competitive offering if it had a more modern powertrain, transmission, interior and was more fuel efficient. These are the things buyers care about now — you can't deny it.

But something tells me that to get this vehicle really up to speed it'll need to be a complete do over. Essentially, Jaguar Land Rover knows this and is going to clean it up, much like they did with the Freelander, and replace it in approximately two to three years.

I hope so because the reality is I don't think many folks think of the Disco when they're shopping for a luxury SUV.
