I happen to spend a lot of time digging for content, so -- to say the least -- I've seen it all. These shots of the 2014 Mercedes-Benz C-Class though I had not seen, until today.
As you'd expect with Mercedes-Benz, the exterior doesn't appear to be undergoing a revolutionary change. Not that you can blame Mercedes as it has exciting new products like the A-Class and CLA/CLC on their way. What is exciting about the spy images I came across is that they feature the VERY first pics of the 2014 C-Class' interior. And Mercedes better be up to something good because with the all-new BMW 3-Series out and about, it will need something good to swoon those loyal 3-Series buyers
From what we can see, the only easy to decipher element in this interior is the A-Class sourced display, which sits on top of the center stack.
To say that this is a great find is an understatement.
...The first thing you will probably notice on the dashboard is the tablet like fixture hovering on top of the newly styled circular air vents. Unless Mercedes-Benz has a surprise in store for us, we suspect that the high-resolution display will be fixed on the dash, as is the case with the new A- and B-Class models.
The menus on the screen will be operated using the controller in the center console, right behind the manual or automatic gear shifter. A secondary TFT color display is built into the dashboard between the instrument cluster gauges...
