One thing is certain for the 2014 model year Mercedes-Benz: The E-Class will be receiving updates. Though it seems like the all-new E made its debut only yesterday, it will be in the middle of its lifecycle.

We've noted that its grille will change shape and become larger and its iconic quad-headlight setup appears to be leaving. In addition, from what we can tell in these fantastic spy images, the rear taillights will receive some minor updating as well as the rear clip/exhaust.

What's even more exciting is that the hard-edged AMG version has made its first appearance while undergoing testing.

As seen in previous testers, the grille, headlights, taillights have been changed but are under a tiny amount of camouflage.
