Ah, the age-old battle of to modify or to NOT modify.
As you already know, we're a fan of personalization and making something your own. That's half the fun of making any purchase, whether it's an automobile or a new iPhone or Android.
But I can't just wrap my head around some of the projects and modifications that come out from tuners, custom designers and the like. Frankly, they just don't add anything nor do they look particularly good in a majority of the cases.
Take, for example, the Paul Jr. Designs Camaro. Sure there's the additional power, coil over suspension and modified interior, but then the rest of it is, arguably, heinous. I can't even look at those 22-inch Forgiato wheels without getting cross eyed.
And if you really want that aftermarket look, the ZL1 essentially provides that with its carbon fiber-insert hood, optional black wheels, quad-tipped exhaust and massive front valence.
So, why would YOU modify your Chevrolet Camaro when you can just get an OEM ZL1?
Most of the time folks wind up investing as much as it would have cost to just go get the OEM variant anyhow...
