Well, guess what?
Now owners are taking delivery!
We know this because a very enthusiastic Bimmerfest owner recently took delivery of a Midnight Blue on black leather BMW X1 xDrive 28i.

I picked up my 2013 X1 on Friday 8/10/2012 here in Michigan. I meant to post some photos right after picking it up, but I spent more time driving the car than I thought I would. 
The car had a built date of 7/11 and just got to the dealer on Friday afternoon. I was able to pick it up that evening.

I wanted to take some better quality photos but haven't gotten around to it yet. I'll be happy to post more later.
Also, this car is awesome! I love the handling, the design, the sound, and the "feel" of the car in general. I have no complaints whatsoever at this point. I picked it up with 5 miles on it, and now it's up to 364.
I might take a little road trip over the weekend, that's why I decided to post some photos now instead of letting another few days pass by. This forum has been very helpful in making the wait for the X1 a little more bearable, thank you! 
When I ordered the car, the online configurator wasn't up yet and I was a little bit worried about how it would all turn out. But it turned out great, I love the car and everything about it!
