It wasn't too long ago that headlines were telling of a Pagani Zonda F ClubSport that was involved in a major accident with speeds reported up to 320 km/h. It sounded particularly grave, especially when you looked at the pictures of what was left of the Zonda.

It really is just a twisted lump of carbon fiber and yellow leather.

But the driver is telling a different story. In fact, Steffen Korbach, also known as the co-owner of Gemballa, has said that one automotive publication outright lied with their facts.

In the early hours of the morning of Thursday 17th February 2011, PRESTIGE CARS Editor and Gemballa co-owner, Steffen Korbach (28), was involved in an accident with his Pagani Zonda Roadster F ClubSport.

The accident occurred at 0030hrs on the Italian Autostrada A10, near Spotorno, in very bad weather conditions. Fortunately, both Korbach and his passenger escaped virtually unhurt, with just minor bruising...
