A long-time advocate of track racing as a means to divert potential drag racers from speeding on city streets, Czyzewski says he's never been a fan of jet-propelled cars.
"I can't stand them," he said, noting the OSCA does not sanction racing with such powerful and dangerous vehicles. His organization deals with fast cars of the non-jet-propelled variety, such as the Mustang, which he used to race. "When you get strapped into a car like that you've got to know something like that can happen," he said.
