Bijan Pakzad may not be a familiar name to some of you, but to those in the loop, he's definitely someone of interest. Not only because he was a high-end designer with a shop on Rodeo Drive but mostly because he was a huge car nut.
Although I can't tell if he was the kind of guy that got his hands greasy, I can tell you one thing: Bijan had a vision. Even if it wasn't your taste, it was what suited him.
Though I can't say I agree with his abuse of yellow, I must give the man credit for wholeheartedly following what he believed in.
Recently Pakzad passed away and while this is a loss for the automotive community, it appears that he didn't get to spend much time with his intensely-customized Bugatti Veyron. Considering it was completed not too long ago, it's sort of a shame, really.
