The Spies are proud to bring your some exciting in-car video of our recent trip to the Laguna Seca Raceway while testing the new 2008 Lexus IS-F! We were joined by professional IndyCar racer Scott Pruitt, giving some valuable insight on how to drive the course.

Check out our second in-car video, showing Agent008 running his own laps on the track. One thing is for certain, the IS-F has successfully bridged the gap between performance and luxury. The car's handling was very good during our track time, as the suspension and tires were certainly up to the challenge. Running in sport mode, there was no noticable body roll while cornering, and the car stayed planted firmly on the track for all but the most challenging sections. Coming to the top of the hill, just before the corkscrew turn, the rear end got ever so slightly light, while never actually coming loose. This part of the course combines cresting a hill under hard braking and downshifts, so given the fact that we were running 100% stock setups, it only seems fair that it wouldn't act like a true race car in that situation.
