Now that it is one of the most powerful automotive groups on the planet, Volkswagen Group is going to start mounting attacks. An example of this is seen with the organization's plans to issue three roadsters from Volkswagen, Audi and Porsche.
Although they will share some of the undergarments, the rest will all be individualized for each brand. This means each vehicle will appeal to a different audience.
To compare it to the human body, it sounds like each vehicle will share the same skeleton and everything else will be differentiated so there is no overlap between each marque. Even the motors are said to be unique to each vehicle.
Sounds like every enthusiasts nightmare of Porsche's becoming Volkswagens or Audis has been averted.
