The new BMW M2 isn’t what most of us would call particularly attractive but it should still be an outstanding performance machine. Now, one independent group has strapped one such G87 generation M2 to a dynamometer and the results are impressive. The little sports car has enough power that we might be able to overlook an ugly face.
Let’s get the results out there front and center. According to IND Distribution, a performance parts brand in Illinois, their M2 made up to 464.59 hp (346.44 kW) and 412 lb-ft (557 Nm) of torque on a DynoJet dynamometer. That’s an impressive figure in its own right but it’s more noteworthy when we compare it to what BMW says the M2 will make.
