If there's been one truly spectacular vehicle that's made its rounds on the auto show circuit, it's the Cadillac Ciel. There's just one, gigantic problem.
It will likely never get built.
While something from its form *may* make it to production, the Ciel as its largely been seen we'll bet won't make it into production. We predict that Cadillac will build something that goes in a more conservative, safe route that will have elements of the Ciel.
And, frankly, there's nothing worse than a watered down, diluted product.
The thing that's painful to see is that the Ciel is a gorgeous car. As we've written before, we think that if Cadillac were to take a chance and build this it would be the new Escalade for the brand. Essentially, it would be the go-to vehicle for the Hollywood A-listers, athletes and the suburban family.
Just like the Escalade pumped up the brand equity for Cadillac, a production Ciel would do the same.
Now only if Cadillac would build it properly...
