TheGMSource - We continue to dig deeper and deeper regarding the situation that transpired yesterday regarding Corvette SS images being leaked on the Internet. AutoBlog.com Editor John Neff published a news story yesterday that the employee was fired from his job by his employer EMOTrans and subsequently placed in Romulus Police Department custody.

After some investigating, TheGMSource was able to confirm that the person alleged to have leaked the images was in fact not placed under arrest , but that a civil complaint was filed. It appears as if there's more to the story, as EMOTrans has told TheGMSource they were not the employer of the alleged leak.

Instead, EMOTrans was instructed to deliver the shipment to Central States upon instructions of Lufthansa. Also, at no point in time did EMOTrans jeopardize the integrity of its company, or fail to protect its clients best interests. We have also learned that EMO Trans is responsible for reporting this to the RPD and that General Motors was not the party to contact the Romulus Police Department.

According to EMOTrans., the shipping company at fault here is Central States. We can also confirm at this time that the employee has been fired by Central States and his work computer has been seized.

As always, please stay tuned to TheGMSource as we are covering this story from all angles, and from this point forward, we will not rely upon information posted elsewhere on the Internet, unless we know it to be 100% truthful and we can provide proof of such.
