We're just a little over a week from the Super Bowl and you know what that means. It's a big day for the world's top brands.

The Porsche team is using this opportunity to show off its all-new Taycan electric vehicle. Consider this its "coming out" party since we're fairly confident that the average consumer isn't so keenly aware of the Taycan versus, say, a Tesla.

As usual, Porsche leverages this opportunity to remind viewers that it is a brand steeped in tradition. More specifically, high-performance heritage. There's no Cayennes or Macans in this commercial. There's something in there that's a bit more utilitarian but it's the butt of a joke — you'll see.
