Next summer will rock!

The Spies broke the story last year about a hybrid version of the Lexus RX in the works that will get up to 40MPG.

The latest update is that it will officially be available next summer as a 2006 model.

It will be called the RX400H when it launches.

It will be a hybrid of the 3.3 engine with electric power.

The intesting tidbit is that it is only the first car from Toyota/Lexus to employ the system.

Look for a Sienna minivan with the same setup and maybe even a Lexus ES330H.
