Porsche is set to reintroduce the 911 GT2 RS, but this time as a hybrid. The new GT2 RS is expected to have a total power output of around 700bhp, with the hybrid powertrain providing a significant boost to the car's performance.

The GT2 RS is expected to feature a turbocharged flat-six engine, which will be paired with an electric motor and a battery pack. The hybrid powertrain is expected to provide additional power and torque, as well as improved efficiency.

The reintroduction of the GT2 RS is part of Porsche's wider strategy to electrify its range, with the company aiming to have 50% of its new cars equipped with electric or hybrid powertrains by 2025. The GT2 RS will serve as a halo model for Porsche's electrification efforts, showcasing the performance potential of hybrid powertrains.

The original 911 GT2 RS was introduced in 2010, and quickly became a cult favourite among Porsche enthusiasts. The car featured a 3.6-litre turbocharged engine that produced 612bhp, making it one of the most powerful 911s ever made. The new hybrid GT2 RS is expected to surpass even that level of performance.

Porsche has not yet announced when the hybrid GT2 RS will be introduced, but it is expected to be within the next few years. The car is likely to be produced in limited numbers, and will be aimed at Porsche enthusiasts and collectors.
