Tesla CEO Elon Musk recently announced that the company plans to hold a Tesla Cybertruck delivery event at the end of the third quarter, which is expected to take place in September 2023. This event will likely mark the first deliveries of the highly anticipated Cybertruck, which has been delayed several times.

During a conference call following the release of Tesla's Q1 2023 financial results, Musk also revealed that the company plans to provide updates on the specs and pricing of the Cybertruck at the event. This is the most precise timing that Tesla has given regarding Cybertruck deliveries to date.

Based on previous product launches, it is likely that only a few Cybertrucks will be delivered during the event to Tesla insiders, with several months expected between the event and the start of deliveries to customers. The production ramp-up will determine the speed of deliveries.

Since Tesla unveiled the Cybertruck in 2019, the electric pickup truck has undergone several changes, and pricing in the EV market has been volatile. As a result, Tesla confirmed that Cybertruck pricing would be different from what was announced in 2019. Musk has previously indicated that a top-of-the-line variant with quad motors will be available, and other specs, configurations, and options are expected to be announced at the event.
