Does that name sound familiar? It's because MINI used it on a concept last year. The study was supposed to be a preview of the brand's future design language, but as it turns out, it actually offered a glimpse of the eponymous production model, which has similar proportions and retains the funky front-end design to some extent.

Sporting LED headlamps mounted rather up, hence the funky styling, the face has a closed-off grille that featured a surrounding light strip on the concept. This feature will probably not make it to the production model, which has a smaller central air intake and less aggressive side trim. The profile looks pretty much the same, and that includes the door handles, though the roofline appears to be a bit less arched at the back. This means that the headroom for rear seat passengers will be improved and that it will have a more generous trunk capacity.
