Tesla caused quite a stir in December 2021 when it launched the Light Show with the Holiday Update. What used to be a Model-X exclusive feature was made available to all Tesla models and soon became one of the most popular tricks a Tesla EV can perform besides the FSD. Now, the Light Show can be entertaining once or twice. Still, the ability to synchronize many Teslas to engage in the light show is truly what makes it, well, shine.
 
It wasn't without drama, though, as the first light shows ended with a few owners complaining that their headlights malfunctioned after a light show. Bizarrely, they could still perform a light show but not illuminate the road at night, which was their primary purpose. Tesla likely solved this issue with a software update because no similar reports were heard of in the past years. Even though the feature was abused with virtually every Tesla gathering out there.
